Great home away from home for Bumbershoot
The Homewood Suites was excellent. We were in town for 2 nights during Bumbershoot, and it was a short walk up the hill to the Seattle Center. The location was great with everything nearby. The room was excellent, although Expedia claimed it was a "water view" and we were not on the water side. We weren’t too concerned about that, however. Having a full fridge was great, the bed was large and very comfortable, and the shower-head was the first one I can remember in a hotel that was tall enough for me -I’m 6’1. Having a full hot complimentary breakfast in the morning was also well worth it, although the eggs were not that great. This hotel has quick access to everything, and is still a bit off the path, so it’s not full of traffic everywhere. We will definitely stay here again. One thing to watch out for - if you’re on the top floor during mid-morning, you may have to wait for an elevator!

Great Hotel close to Space Needle
This is a very nice hotel. I would stay here again. The room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The suite had a large kitchen with a cook top, microwave and full size refrigerator.the suite was like a small 2 bedroom apartment, large enough to sleep 6 people with the sleeper sofa. free USA Today. Walking distance to Space Needle. Here are some not so great things about our stay; I checked in at 2 pm and had to wait over an hour for the room to be cleaned. The living room in the suite has no windows and feels like a cave. Off street parking costs extra. I believe it was $15/day. I was usually able to park within a block on the street. The Intersection in front of the hotel is a little tricky and was best to drive a block to a stoplight controlled intersection to cross. This was good hotel experience and the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

Homewood Suites Downtown Seattle
Not many amenities available on site (no pool, lounge, restaurant, etc.), however only a short drive to waterfront attractions and shopping. Not enough parking to accommodate every suite, so parking is not guaranteed.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get to breakfast early. Many food items run out before breakfast window ends.
