I will come back
Overall speaking I liked the cleanliness of my room and breakfast area, etc. One things and I mentioned it to the receptionist that there was a kind of a bad smell in the room, not really strong, but ... I could not figure out what is was and. Fortunately, I could open a window. Thanks, Beate

Will definitively stay again. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.
The staff showed us other rooms when we wanted to upgrade. They found one that worked well for us. Much nicer than the last hotel we stayed in at Ocean Shores.

Wonderful place to stay
We came here for our anniversary weekend and were very pleased. The only thing in between the hotel and the beach are sand and grass, which is so nice. Ocean Shores is a cute little town with many shops and activities. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We came during off-peak times (Oct.) and the prices were very good. The reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 on the comfort of the room is that the bed was too firm for our liking (then again, we usually sleep on a pillow-top mattress with a memory foam mattress on top of that!) and also the bathroom towels were not very nice.

no complaints
My wife and I stayed here on a Friday night and had no complaints. We have stayed in other places in Ocean Shores and been less than impressed for the price. The price was reasonable, I did not have to listen to the neighbors party all night long. These things are extremely important to me. Plus you can walk out the back door, through the dunes to the beach.

Nice, basic hotel room.
The room was very comfortable, loved the rounded shower curtain! Always appreciate coffee and a hair dryer, too! The newspaper was a nice surprise.

Good for the price
I would not visit during peak season. This hotel would not be worth those prices. This hotel is in need of updates. The beds were marginal in comfort and years of wear show through out. Service was friendly and the room was clean.

It deserves it’s high Expedia rating.
They were the perfect hosts. They thought of everything. They had free internet in the lobby and had a little outside miniature golf course. This was the only motel I can think of that had an actual nightlight in the bathroom. We were in a hurry so we didn’t get to explore the surrounding area but they are very close to the beach.

Overall was a nice trip
Pool room needs ventilations the smell of clorine was so strong gave me a headache. Pool could have been warmer. The kids loved Putt Putt golf.

Weekend Get Away....
Everything was GREAT, except for the BED...whew...if you are just gonna pass out it would be great, BUT if u want a good night’s sleep not so much!!!! Great service, great location, just not so great beds.

Room had no air conditioning, Water was super soft, felt like washing with oil, shower head was plugged with calcium.
