Great time there. Everyone was so helpful. I really got to relax and that is just what I needed.

liked resort but not impressed
i booked weekes earlier and ask for a highest floor they gave me 3rd floor they dont honor request

Will go back
The hotel was beautiful. We went for a short weekend stay. The only problem was the parking garage. It was very tight and we had to be careful.

Good Times
The unit was clean, and relatively quiet. Attractive structure. Parking garage SUCKED!! Tight spaces with concrete columns, two way traffic, and horribly designed. My car was almost hit several times while navigating the garage by incoming/outgoing traffic.

Wonderful view
My first trip to Myrtle Beach and the stay at the Avista Resort was great. Everything was very clean and the customer service was nice. We stayed on the 10th floor and had a great oceanview. The beach was clean and the pool area was very nice. Great for smaller children as they had activities for tthem to participate in. Very nice!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Bring your own beach umbrella, the town of Myrtle Beach rents out umbrella’s and chairs for fee. Thought that was a little steep. If you only want to spend a few hours on the beach, you still pay the same price.

LOVE THIS PLACE GOING BACK SOON
This is by far the nicest place I ever stayed. It was clean, spacious, and the staff went out of their way to make you feel at home. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Awesome Resort!
Avista was simply wonderful. Great resort, great rooms, great pool area, great beach access and a pretty decent price. I highly recommend this place! We will be back! My only complaint was their parking garage. Very poor design. Be careful.

Go back ? Maybe!!!
We had a single. Yes we had ocean view on the side of the building with a view of the construction of the resort next door. Resteraunt was over priced for the menu. Pool area was A1. The best. Don’t feel it deserves the name of a resort. More just a soso hotel.We’ve been to resorts and this doesn’t Qualify.

Hotel not a resort!!
I wouldn’t consider this place a resort. The staff was less than professional. The rooms were fair. The Bell Staff sits at their stations and talk on their Cell Phones to pass the time. The business center didn’t have a printer so I could print my boarding passes, so they let me use the computer behind the front desk. A RESORT???!!!!LOL

Nice, Convient and Enjoyable
The hotel was very convient to local shoping, dining and highway. I had no problem getting around Chicago at the location. There was always places to go and see around there when I was not in meetings. The only issue I had was that in the vending machines were not stocked properly. I was there for four nights and the whole time the vending machines never got stocked even after I informed the front desk. But that is the least of the issues. The room was clean and nice. The bath room was very clean and large. Overall the hotel was a great place to stay and I would stay there again if I am in the area.

Great Resort
We recently made the trip from NC to N Myrtle Beach for only one night for our Grand Daughters birthday. Just staying one night we usually stay at a side of the road Motel, but this time found the price was good at the Avista resort and made the plans. We it was great. we had a wonderful 1 br ocean view. It had two balconies on the 17th floor. It has a very nice indoor pool and lazy river (the grand kids spent the night with us) It was truly a nice place and a great value. Hopefully this summer when we visit we can stay there again.

Nice condo
The condo was very nice. We were only there one day but everything was fine. We were in the Prince Resort because when we arrived at the Avista it was oversold and they moved us to the Prince. All was well but it looked out on the pier which would not have been my first choice of views.

Decent hotel on the beach.
We reserved here last minute for a weekend trip with 3 kids to North Myrtle. The hotel was clean and in good condition, the one-bedroom condo decent size. The garage being across the street wasn’t a big deal, even with the kids. Except for check out times, the elevator wait was not an issue. The only criticism was that the luggage carts were difficult to find between 10-11 AM (check out is 11AM). Overall, we’d stay here again.

Great resort
This was our second stay with Avista and it was great. The housekeeping services were wonderful, our kids loved the pools and lazy rivers. The staff was friendly. My husband and I enjoyed the poolside bar. Restaurant has good food. There’s lots to do in the area...great beachfront location. We will definitely be back.

Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing are great places to with the family and shop.

Great place for families
We loved our stay at Avista. Our room was great, and the facility and staff were very accomodating for a family traveling with small children. We definitely plan to visit again.

Great place to stay
Very nice condo,but our stay was only 2 nights and 1 day so did not get to enjoy all that was there to do.

Very satisfied
Hotel included all that we needed. Room had a washer/dryer which was convenient. The hotel staff was very good.

It’s O.K. for family with young childrens.
The room was cleaned, mainted very well. We had a ocean view room. It was nice. Small kitchen , but enough space for cooking for our family ( 2 adults and 2 & 4 years old boys). We enjoyed. The price was resonable!!!
