The best bang for the buck!!!
This hotel was fabulous for the money - if you’re looking for a 5 star hotel - then, obviously, this is not it. However, for the small price we paid, the hotel is in decent shape, the rooms were well made up, clean, and well furnished - with safe and mini fridge - nice swimming pool, exercise room, and HOT FREE breakfast!!! The hotel is right in the middle of at least 10 places to eat and some shopping as well - everything you need is within 3 blocks - and is only 1-2 miles from SIUC. I travel to Carbondale often and will never stay anywhere else from this point forward (unless of course, my employer is paying - in which case I would stay in the HI down the road - hope this helps!
