Comfortable and user-friendly
I have stayed at this hotel twice. It’s not at all glamorous, but if your business takes you to the Redmond area of Seattle, it’s quite a relief to just come back, into a room where there’s a coffee maker, fridge, and quiet courtesy.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
From the Homestead. it’s a short drive to Bellevue, a large suburb of Seattle, where you can easily get a really good dinner. This hotel is a good place to stay not so much for Seattle sight-seeing, but if you have other business to attend to.

Decent, but unimpressive.
The rooms in this hotel are fairly well equipped, insomuch as you get a small kitchen and eating area in addition to the standard bedroom and bathroom. However, there doesn’t seem to be any housekeeping for occupied rooms. My trip was a week long, and the initial stock of soap, shampoo, and towels doesn’t last that long. Oddly enough, the TV receives cable channels but no local networks. I had to sign in twice (and agree to pay twice) to use the internet access--once when connecting with Ethernet, and again when connecting via wireless. I’m not sure if I was charged twice or not.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Make sure to bring (or buy) your own toiletries, as housekeeping won’t be paying you any visits. If you’re planning on staying for more than a couple days, you may also want to bring your own pillow--the ones in the rooms aren’t very comfortable.
