Cedar Falls Stay
We were lucky enough to stay during the week, so there wasnt much traffic. The breakfast was great. It was very clean. Satisfied with that. However the walls seemed a little thin, sometimes we could hear what was going on outside our room. But overall good.

Lavish Room, Gorgeous Hotel - but noise and cigarette smoke issues
The hotel and room were absolutely gorgeous! Work out center and complimentary breakfast were as promised. However the first night my traveling partners (in another room across the hall) and I were both awakened to drunken shouting in the hallway two times between 1:30am-2:30am. I phoned the front desk and made a complaint but not sure they could find the offender, nothing was ever said. Then at 3:30am I was awakened to a room full of cigarette smoke, yuk! It was awful. Once again I phoned the front desk and made a complaint. They said I should put a towel under the door and open the window. It was 37 degrees that night, but I did both suggestions and also put a dryer sheet with some lavender oil on it in front of the fan (I have them in my suitcase for when it is not in use and stored in a closet at home.) We worked a tradeshow the next day so limited amounts of sleep made it rough! Plus the two nights/two rooms/ 3 people was not cheap. Seemed like we should have went to Country Inn Suites for half the price. You never know.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Ask about non smoking and smoking rooms if you have issues with cigarette smoke! ALso find out the policy on rude, loud guests. I realize this happens at many hotels.
