nice place to stay at casa

this hotel was a convinient nice stay at casa , on the beach area , allows walks on the beach and close to taxi stand , close to some night outings as well staff were absolute friendly and many facilities available definite will visit again

Great place to relax!

I stayed at the Club Val D Anfa after a week’s trip in Morocco. It was a great place to finish off my trip! If you are looking for a place to go to relax away from a lot of chaos in the city, this is a great hotel. The pool was very nice and the room was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The restaurant had a nice deck that overlooked the water. I was thrilled with my stay at the Club Val D Anfa.

Good place to stay

Great place to stay, rooms were very clean and comfortable. The service was really good for the most part, you will find some waitresses and front desk staff that is not very friendly, but most of them are. The hotel is in a good location but they are rebuilding that area so there was quite a bit of construction when I visited. The restaurants have good service and music on some nights. Overall, I would most definitely recommend the hotel.

Good location but poor service and too much noise

Upon arrival we were shown to our room with a great view over the beach, then were told by the porter that the tip we gave him for carrying our bags was too small - a sign of things to come. The room itself was fine, but from Thursday night to Saturday night (and potentially all week) it was ridiculously noisy nearly all night long - they set up clubs / parties on the beach and you won’t sleep without earplugs. The front desk was completely useless in terms of tourism advice and seemed to not even know their own hotel. For example, my girlfriend asked them (speaking French) if the spa in the hotel contained a hamam. They said no, and she should ask at the spa desk for where to go. At the spa desk we found out the hotel spa actually did have a hamam....which was apparently quite dirty as well. On the positive side, the rooms themselves were ok (at least ours), and the location was nice because there were several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The Moroccan restaurant adjoining the hotel was quite nice.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Don’t use the taxi waiting at the top of the street near the hotel - there is commonly one red petit taxi waiting there...walk a little distance and flag one down on the street to avoid being ripped off. A taxi to the city should cost you 50 Dirham maximum (around $7 now), but usually much less (20-30 Dirham).

the best breakfast buffet with view

it located on the beach of atlantic ocean with beautiful view of sunset. the hotel added a new builing or renovated, clean and good services. the food served in the restaurant was delicious. it takes about 10 min. from busy downtown.

Definite will go back

I returned two days ago from Casablanca. I stay 5 nights at this hotel, the breakfast was good but the room was next to the road and over the nightclub, alone with that you could hear other room toilet flushing. We try to change the room but no luck. The front desk males were friendly, where else the females was something else.

e had an English-speaking taxi driver for the 5 days; we visited Fez, Marrakech, Rabat and Casablanca. Everyone one is after the tourist money, always get price first. The tour guide is good but ask price first, and remember the work with the businesses on commission.

Not impressed

The service in this hotel was fairly bad, from the housekeeping department who would knock on the door to ask me when I would leave my room, and be obviously annoyed if I wasn’t leaving quickly, to the shouting receptionist who seemed annoyed with everybody. Breakfast buffet was good, with a mix of local and international products. Hotel is situated very close to the sea, with sea views, but in an area a long way from the central city and the mosque. Overall I would not reccommend this hote.
