Nice for the price
If you are unable to walk down a steep hill, up a fairly long staircase, or carry luggage up those stairs, make it clear that you cannot have a room in building # 3. There is no level ground area to get to that building and there is no elevator. The view from the hotel is lovely. It looks over a Rachel Carson Nature Preserve all the way to the ocean front. The staff is friendly and the included breakfast is very decent. Even though the hotel is directly off the main drag, the property is quiet and peaceful.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The " Egg and I" Restaurant is not far and serves a wonderful full service breakfast at reasonable prices. It is crowded, but the tables empty pretty quickly, so the average wait is about 10-15 min. There is a nice CVS drugs and a Rite-Aid pharmacy in the area.

A Room With A View
A young man greeted us with a warm smile when we checked in. He gave very clear and simple directions about when breakfast would be served and assured us that a daily paper would be there,too The room had a wonderful view out to the salt marsh and chairs on a balcony to enjoy the sunset. The next morning after a great night’s sleep we were pleasantly surprised that breakfast included a variety of things and not just bagels! The hotel is easy to find and near to everything else.
