Very beautiful wooded area, wood sidewalks, hiking trails.
We were there when the amusement park was closed so the hotel so my wife and I were virtually the only guests at this resort. I think I counted six cars in the parking lot one morning (we were there two nights in September, ’07). The walk to the rooms is very pleasant with the covered, wood sidewalks. Our room balcony faced the forest, that had hiking trails throughout with informational boards scattered along it. The only, and I mean only, negatives I could find was that the carpet in our room had a lot of stains but the rest of the room was very clean. I also didn’t care for the scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet (they had a texture of "instant powered eggs".) Otherwise, the personnel were extremely friendly, the hotel was very nice and it was very quiet during our stay. It could be different if the park was open but I wouldn’t know. Downtown Paris is about 30 minutes away, depending on traffic.
