Already planning a return visit!
This was a terrific off-season option in Jersey. Centrally located, in St. Helier, we had no problem getting around the island, walking to shopping or finding dining options. ((If it was a summer visit, I would pick someplace on the beach.)) The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever eaten; we enjoyed it each morning. It was varied, generous & impeccably maintained.
Traveler's tip
The rooms facing the square & bay don’t really have a fabulous view and the square is quite busy with night-time fun, so if you are not a late night person and/or don’t want night time noises - ask for an inside room.

Very Impressed - St Heleire & Pomme d’Or Hotel
Central location in Harbor of St. Heliere, within easy walking distance of all shopping and musuems. Shopping is the big thing in the city, all sorts of namebrand stores and deesigner clothes. Easy access to bus system if you don’t want to rent a car. The bus system is also very good for the whole island. No onsite parking but parking garage and parking lot within 2 blocks. Parking within city is a pain, requires parking passes that you buy by the hour, with some areas 30 minute, one hour, 2 hour or 6 hour max. Rooms have triple pane glass so are pretty quiet, and are air-conditioned. Cafe in hotel was pretty reasonable, and had a diverse menu. English breakfast served until 10:00, and was buffet style with a wide range of hot dishes, fruits, pastries, and breakfast sausages & meats. An invitation to gluttony. 2 onsite restaurants, one very upscale.
