Don’t get the room located over the kitchen
The rooms were nicely maintained. The staff was very good but don’t get the room located over the kitchen.

Some things to expect
We had an interesting experience we had some issues w/ our room and had to change rooms three times before things cleared up. I will say this we originally chose the Captain’s Quarters I would only recommend this room for 1 person I was w/ my fiancee so this did not work for us.I would recommend the Arabian Nights room it was recently updated and very comfortable.

Cozy, but not glamorous
This hotel is very old and they have photos displayed of famous people who have stayed here. The people who work here are extremely friendly and the view is nice. The breakfast is very good, but my husband and I didn’t like dinner at the restaurant. We stayed in the Key Largo room. My husband was very unhappy with the shutters in our room, they wouldn’t close and alot of them were broken so people could see into our room when they passed by, it wasn’t very private. Also we could hear everything outside. If we were to ever stay here again we’d get a different room.
