Look else where
This hotel was one of the most expensive we stayed in. The location was not on the "boardwalk" as expected and the hotel is barely as good as a Holiday Inn. Not worth the price.

Really nice facility, good service
We had two rooms at this hotel and had a great stay, with no complaints from anyone in our group. We found it to be clean, comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped. The gym and pool were open at good times and were nice facilities. There’s shopping and a choice of dining locations nearby, as well as a nice (but overpriced) pub in the hotel. The staff was helpful, and we’d happily recommend the Clybaun to anyone.

Not worth it
Not a great location...very poor service!!! The staff seemed bothered to have us approach the counter, we stayed 3 days the lousy service was consistant! A real disapointment! Sheets not changed on beds bathroom not cleaned though we did get towels, hopefully clean ones but not certain If you are looking for a hotel near Galway keep looking even if you want to be near Salthill keep looking there has to be something better!!! not at all worth the money!!
