The absolute worst...even for $60 a night

I am a well seasoned traveler and have experienced a variety of hotels from one start to five star and this one barely gets one star...and that is only due to the cost of the motel. I won’t rant and rave but here are the facts: 1. Every ice maker was not functioning - granted not one on many floors. 2. Pool was out of service and looked very "green" versus clear or blue tint 3. Continental breakfast was sad....unless you like lukewarm coffee and toast and cold cereal. 4. Our room had blankets that looked like they were there from the 70’s...all nappy, matted and quite old. Our bedspread had 3 holes in it like they were burnt from cigarettes 5. Our shower had so much caulk around it, I wondered if the door was going to stay on and obviously it was done by a 3rd grader. 6. There were 5 guest TOTAL in the entire hotel and even thought I politely asked for a noon checkout time, I was called in my room at 11am and told that I had to leave. This was more agony that it was worth even for a cheap price. I would never stay here again....even if it was free.

There were dead bugs on the bathroom floor, and the breakfast was meager...even for the price, didn’t feel it was worth it, and won’t go there again

Wouldn’t recommend staying here

The hotel has not been maintained well and it was not clean. The heat index for most of my stay in KC was 105-115 degrees and the air conditioning in the lobby, elevator and stairwell was not working. Fortunately, it worked in the room, but the room was not clean.

Good value

This isn’t a luxury hotel, but we were well pleased with the room we had for the price. The room was clean and the bed was good. We didn’t use the pool or exercise room, but they were available. The included breakfast was OK; fruit juices, toast, cereal and some sugary rolls. We’ll stay there again when we have occasion to be in the Lee’s Summit area.

Good for the price

We reserved two rooms and were given side by side rooms upon arrival. One of the two had not been cleaned. Recontacted the front desk and were immediately put in another room. After that, the rest of the stay was very comfortable. I would stay at this motel again.

Adequate for needs

Peaple were friendly. The room clean and confortable. For a stay of one or two night its is a good deal. It was quiet. Breackfast Bar has minimal offerings.

You get what you pay for

We booked this hotel the day before a Nascar race when hotel rooms were hard to find. The hotel clerks were very nice, but when we got to our room the toliot wouldn’t flush, there were only two towels in the bathroom and the bathroom amenities were not replenished. I’m not sure the room was cleaned before our arrival. There were also some kind of worm in my bed. Trust me, I wasn’t sure I wanted to sleep in that bed but I didn’t have a choice since all hotels were booked around.

A Great BASIC Place To Stay - Inexpensive

For a basic place to stay and right off the highway. simple amenities. priced right. we were there Fri night (late checkin) until Sunday morn. Quiet. Clean.

Great

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. There was not an iron in our room. We asked the front desk for one and within minutes one was found and brought to our room. No other problems.

We will stay here again

Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was modern and clean. We will stay here again! We felt it was a good value for the price. Expedia could have been better at giving us info and directions to this motel.

Much Less than expected

Normally when travelling to Lee’s Summit I stay at the other 2 eceonomy hotels becuase I am gone most of the day and they ahve been very good. I chose this hotel just to "try" a new economy hotel...bad mistake. Except for the lady at the front desk who was wonderful at check in, the room was dirty, the blanket on the bed would have thrilled CSI investigations, the halwways were noises with kids yelling till very late in the night/morning, there was absoltuely no information on hotel accomodations in the room the peoplein the next room had a "do not disturb-drinking" sign on thier door for several days and banged the door coming in and out and I left with several bites on my torso that I suspect came from the room. Needless to say, my return trip will not be this hotel.

One of the cleanest around!

This hotel was by far one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayedin, including rooms for much higher prices! The staff was very firendly, the decor was nice, the location was good and the price was right. I can only say one negative thing- the pool area had very strong chlorine fumes and no patio outdoors. Other than that our stay was excellent!

Good for the price

There are often shortcomings with a small, locally-owned property. The good things: Very nice shower, with lots of hot water, good pressure, and two settings, one of them an excellent shower massage. Wireless network worked great. Staff was friendly and told me when I arrived that they had gotten behind on laundry so if we didn’t have enough towels already, they were available now. Bedding smelled clean and the bathroom was spic and span. Both key cards worked immediately. Downsides: pillows were a little on the thin side. Alarm clock didn’t work. Everything was a bit worn-looking and there was a musty smell. When we got up Saturday morning I couldn’t get anyone to come to the front desk, and several air conditioning units lined the sidewalk approaching the door - cleaning filters? Bottom line - not fancy but comfortable and quiet.

Good value

Chose the hotel because it came up as the cheapest when I did a search on Expedia. It was clean and well maintained. Room was fine and bed was comfortable. Has an indoor pool which we didn’t use (no time). The breakfast is bare bones (coffee, juice, cereal, donuts) but adequate. Would stay there again if I had to be in KC.

Great hotel for the price

This was a really great hotel for a very reasonable rate. The staff was VERY helpful and accommodating and bent over backwards to make sure that I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The room was adequate, though the heating system didn’t allow for much adjustment -- it was either really warm or too cold. The wireless internet made this the ideal hotel for me in Lee’s Summit and when I come back to Missouri, I will stay here again.
