Bellevue Interlaken is an Art Nouveau hotel on the River Aare in Interlaken, Switzerland . Interlaken is a well known tourist destination in the Bernese Oberland and offers tourists a peaceful base from which to explore the surrounding areas by train or bus. However, the main attraction is probably the magnificent Jungfrau mountain. Housed in a historical building, Bellevue Interlaken hotel impresses its guests for the lotus flower floor in the lobby, symbol for the old and new ideas that come together. Quaint hotel in the heart of Interlaken
This 100 year old hotel was recently renovated, and had all modern conveniences that you would expect. Our room was not overly posh, but was very comfortable and clean. The balcony over the river was a plus and the rush of water was just perfect to relax. The central location in Interlaken made for easy walking to the train station and many dining options around town. Breakfast was a traditional continental, more than enough to get the day started. The hotel has ample parking at a lot across the street for a minimal fee. The hotel staff were very friendly and informative. They were able to provide us with a free local rail pass.
