Management Shortcoming
On check in, assigned room.Went to room and it was already occupied. Backed out quietly, went back to desk.Excuse given as "must have been a computer glitch". No apology. Given new room key.Went to room.Hot as blazes.98 degrees outside and in. Air conditioner out. Back to desk.No maintenance available. Got lots of excuses.Told that no more rooms available. Asked for Manager.Got run around.I threatened to call Corperate Headquarters. Manager came on Phone. No apology offered.Suggested upgrade to room.Room suddenly available. OK.but clerk said that it would be $40 a night more. After a few well chosen words to him,I almost left.I had just driven 300 miles from NJ,my Nephew 550 from NY, and another Nephew flew in from Texas. We were not in any mood to go look for another hotel.He withdrew the proposed increase and we got a small suite.All the rest was OK.There was never a reason offered for the lash ups nor an apology for the inefficiency of Hotel Staff.Poor managment all around. Bad experience.

Changed for the worse
I stayed at this hotel when I got married seven years ago and it was awesome. This time the first room we got was filthy, the room they switched us to was little better. We are very cigarette smoke sensitive and we were traveling with a *NEWBORN* baby. The room we had was directly above the smoking area for the hotel and if we had the air on, smoke got sucked into our room. When we talked to the front desk about it they said there was nothing they could do, people had a right to smoke there. This was not our issue, our issue was we had to choose to either be hot or breathe in smoke. Staff was not helpful nor did they apologize for either issue we had. We also did not get maid service except for the trash emptied on one of the days(not by request). We had to go down at 11:00pm to ask for towels and toilet paper. We were seriously disappointed with our stay.
