Alright, but not great

It is located on the very edge of the historic district in an upscale neighborhood. It is not very near many of the ’sights’, but there are shops and restaurants close by. The hotel has 25 rooms and occupies the 1st two levels of a high-end apartment building. The rooms are adequate (especially by Italian standards), but not great. The air-conditioning is an issue (old, worn out units that are loud & not very effective). The public areas are well maintained, but the rooms show signs of wear & tear, and they are dated (for example: a plastic table and chairs). The service is sparse, but very friendly. It is alright, but there are better hotels more centrally located.

Traveler's tip

Take a day-trip to Segesta (1.5 hours west and south). A remarkable greek temple and ampitheater.
