Very nice place with great people
At this place we find the owners doing their best to make your stay the best one as possible. They were helpful and friendly all the time I was there.
Traveler's tip
Dispite it is not located in the central Reykjavík it is still a great place to stay because there are satisfatory number of buses lines serving the area.

Oddly Icelandic?
This isnt a hotel. Its a guesthouse so youll be staying in a house of spare rooms. The place is clean and well-maintained but you will hear all the other guests. Theres a kitchen to cook you own food. Our room was never cleaned and there were no fresh towels during our five day stay. There was no soap in the shower, which was very annoying after a long flight. Also, the owner showed the room to a prospective guest early one morning just after we awoke! This is a case of you get what you pay for. If you can afford to stay elsewhere, do it.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Reykjaviks nightlife is unusual. If youre a woman youll probably be mobbed by men. We saw far fewer women than men on Friday night/morning. Saturday night in Akureyri presented a somewhat better distribution, but still not equal.
