OK but needs updating
Nice older (1920s) property in a good central location in New Braunfels. Neighborhood walkable, and downtown businesses are nearby. Staff was very helpful. Interiors and tile work are original and the 20s feel is consistent throughout. There’s a pub in the back, but the new owner is still working on licensing for an on-site brewery, which we’re told takes forever in Texas. That said, good selection of beer. We had room 201, but the window A/C was noisy so they quickly moved us to 301. These are Queen corner rooms and so get better light, facing the rear. The room was small, and the bathroom was very small. Bathrooms need redoing.

Great Place in Historic NB
Under new ownership, this place had great microbrewery bar, HD TVs and a superb one man singer for entertainment. Rooms are old but beds were excellent which surprised me. Plumbing and lights a bit old and watch your step going in/out of your room’s bathroom. It’s a step up/down that can surprise you.

Our stay was only one night but, we really want to go back when we can stay longer.
