Could have been a little cleaner.
The hotel price was more inexpensive than others, however, I still believe it could have been cleaner. The bathroom could have used some detail work, and the carpet made your feet look a little black after walking barefoot a lot. We wanted a cheap vacation, so it did not ruin our vacation or anything, but overall hotel maintenence could have been better. Also, the room used for the free breakfast was way too small. It was always cramped and you could barely move around the food counter to get things. Too many people in too small of a space. One thing to mention, which I know the hotel cannot always control, but there were a lot of drunk homeless people around, and I kept seeing the same one inside the hotel getting ice. I saw one on property pouring vodka into his glass. This might bother some while on vacation.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
I might still recommend this hotel for a cheap vacation to someone that does not mind the things I mentioned before.

Very Old & Runned down
Major repairs needed, elevators were scarey and made all kinds of noises. The room itself wasn’t too bad compared to the halls but I would not stay there again. The only plus is that it is affordable and on the seawall, close to everything.

Nice place will go back
Very nice hotal to stay at. We really like that it was across from the beach and we could just walk right across the street. You get a partial view of the beach and a big view of Hooters. Very nice sitting out on the balcony watching all the people leaving Murdocs and Hooters. We did notic that most employees at Hooters parked on the front row of the guest parking lot. Kiknda crappy but overall a nice place. Great place for the money. Plan to return!
