In just a few minutes by car you can reach various interesting sight-seeing points, e.g. the famous San Salvador monastery, or the Dragon Caves known for their out-of-the-ordinary stalactite formations.The artistic village of Santanyi, well-known for its weekly markets on Wednesdays or Saturdays, is also worth a visit. Somewhat more turbulent, nevertheless typically Mallorcan, is the market in Felanitx which operates on Sundays with stalls of every kind in and around the old market halls.
