Generic Business Hotel
There was nothing wrong with the Hilton Brisbane. Provides all the standard services you would expect of a business class hotel. But there is also absolutely nothing memorable about the property, and no efforts to provide extra comforts that many comparable hotel chains would offer. If it comes down to rate and location, it’s totally fine, but don’t expect to be amazed.

Brisbane Southbank is a lovely surprise of arts & cultural offerings. For those times you escape from the meeting schedule, take a walk or a water ferry across the river.

Perfect Location!!
The hotel sits on Queen Street Mall which is the main shopping area of Brisbane. Plenty of stores, restaurants, bars, 2 movie theaters, even a bowling alley are steps away. There is even a food store (Coles) a steps away. The breakfast buffet was delicious but try and get a deal so the buffet is included in the room rate. I think the full buffet was $38.00 (au dollars) per person. The room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this Hilton!
You know when you stay at a Hilton, you’ll have a decent stay, but we hand an exceptional one! The service was impeccable, the buffet breakfast was enormous and the hotel was very comfortable and in the center of everything. The staff even leaves little treats for you at turn-down and once, when they forgot my treat, they sent up a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries! Next time I’m in Brisbane, I know exactly where I’m staying!

Great location
The hotel feels a bit dated and worn, however the location is excellent for shopping and dining in the heart of Brisbane. It’s a typical 70s atrium design. The bathroom was very basic with worn tiles and a tub/shower combo. The TV was really small and was not flat screen. We had a coffee in the lounge but did not dine in the restaurant. However, it always seemed busy and appeared to be buffet style for breakfast and lunch. The hotel suited our needs since we did not spend much time in it - just a clean, safe place to rest at night.

What I expected
The Brisbane Hilton was just what I expected from a Hilton Hotel. The room was clean and well appointed. The lobby and restaurant are on the 6th floor with an information desk at ground level. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is valet. The hotel is located in a great area for walking to dinner, shopping or the river.
