Didn’t even sleep there
Not only were there disgusting stains on both of the chairs in the room, we returned to the hotel after the event we were attending to find tons of mosquitos in our room...it was horrible. We literally packed up our stuff, and made the long drive home at midnight.

I would really try to avoid this hotel
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Not only was the hotel run-down, disgusting, dirty, and smelly, but I did NOT feel safe staying in that part of Madison (I’m 23, 200-lb male). Let me sum this place up in the words of my cab driver: "Well, the area is getting better now. Ever since someone was killed a few years ago, the police actually patrol around here. You’ll probably be fine at this hotel tonight, but the rest of the guests are either with prostitutes or smoking crack." I wouldn’t even recommend this place for someone looking for a bargain. I have stayed in other motels for around the same price (some even cheaper) that have at least been clean and safe. This place was really horrific. It smelled like cat piss and vomit in our room, our closet didn’t have a handle, and the chair in our room had a gigantic stain on it. The door and window did not feel like they actually shut and locked, so I spent the night slightly concerned for my safety. I really felt like everything I touched in the room was giving me some sort of disease. The only redeeming quality of this place is that there is a McDonald’s nearby.
