Overall a Good Stay
The rooms and bathrooms are relatively large for a hotel in downtown Thessaloniki. The beds were particularly comfortable. Although the other furniture in the rooms looked like they came from IKEA. Le Palace serves a nice breakfast in a sunny room that overlooks Tsimiski St., the heart of commercial activity in Thessaloniki. If you have a car, parking is only a 7 min. walk away, and costs 11 euros a day. The hotel will set you up with a 24 card to access the parking lot. The lobby of the hotel is small and rather unimpressive. The only real complaint is that the hotel intentionally restricts the power of the ACs. You have to ask them to adjust the temperature if you want a cooler room. And every time you leave the room and shut off the AC, you have to go through the same ordeal with the front desk to reset the temperature.
