Not Impressed
The hotel was fine but definitely it is not a 4.5 stars hotel it looks more like a motel. It doesnt worth the price published. The room was clean but looked quite old. The location is great since all the touristic attractions are near and in the afternoon is easy to find where to have dinner. They have complementary movie service. We were ok to stay at the hotel even it wasnt what we expected. The second night the air condition wasnt working properly, it was warming the room instead of cooling it and it was a very hot day. We called the front desk and they sent someone to check the air condition. The service man told us that it wasnt working so we have to open the window!! A big window without insect protection with lots of insects flaying outside... We called again the front desk and they decided to change our room at 1 am. Finlay they move us to a suit that looked much more better than the other room. So, the hotel is fine but is too expensive for what it is.

Excellent
When quoted the Expedia rate I thought there must be a mistake; four star hotels dont come this cheap. But in this case I was not disappointed. The Pavilion is a delightful place to stay. The enormous tented atrium with its tropical garden is an exotic touch. Service was outstandingly friendly and helpful.
Traveler's tip
Vouchers for meals bought at checkin allow an unlimited buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. But the coffee, from a thermos, is very inferior to the expresso coffee usually served.
