Very impressed
Very nice hotel. Close to the central rail station and touristic points. Strongly reccommend it to travellers to Hamburg. Unfortunately breakfast not included in room rates.

3 star at best
The rating is wrong; this is a 3-star hotel located a few hundred meters from the main train station. Although I was not as bothered; previous posts are correct about the constant sound of the rumbling trains and the thin walls (I could clearly hear the television in the next room). The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful, but their lack of experience was evident and I couldn’t shake the feeling that everyone was a new hire. Stayed in #213(?), which is a small oddly shaped room facing the street. The modest bathroom has a small stall-style shower. This hotel may be an option if you just need a bed to crash and they offer an unbeatable price. For everyone else, keep looking. This is not the sort of place you feel good about returning to after a day of sightseeing.

Nice hotel with friendly staff.
Street-front room, double-paned glass so no noise, but with cool urban feel. Good AC. Very close to central train and subway station. Safe area. Very friendly staff. Free wi-fi internet in room. Pants-press in room. Twin beds separate easily. USA plug adapter available, 1st come 1st serve. No free breakfast.
