well at least it was cheap
this place needs some work! I had to to take a short emergency trip out of town to Newport. There were 5 of us and I really couldn’t afford a better room at the time. The room smelled like fish and dead seal... especially the carpets where my niece slept. And the beds smelled none too clean either.

Keep driving
No shampoo, empty tissue holder, dirty floors, out of focus tv, paper thin walls, doors not square - squeeked/scapped when closed. Have paid half as much for national chains with standards.

Belligerent proprietor
We had checked in dropped off our bags and went to a function. While at the function we decided the hotel was not where we really wanted to stay. The walls were dirty, the bathroom door looked as if it had been kicked in, the front door seal was so bad you could see daylight all the way around it. We went back to check out and asked for a refund. We were met with beligerance and a flat refusal. We asked for a half of the fee back and the exhange got even worse. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stay somewhere else!
