Typical 2-Star Hotel

Ambra met our basic needs in regards to a hotel such as, clean, safe, friendly staff, location, etc... Walking, it took about 5 minutes to get to the city center and roughly 10 minutes to get to the beach from the hotel. The breakfast was good with enough food to hold you over until lunch. Taxi from the airport to the hotel was ~17 euro; however, you could take a bus for less as the central terminal is about 150 meters from Ambra. Overall, Ambra was a good "spot" to stay in Pescara.

Traveler's tip on dining

Local bars/bistros in the city center serve enough finger food to make a dinner meal. We actually had to turn away "platters" after our second beverage...got too full. Also, ensure you find out what time the restuarants close for lunch in the area. After 2 or 3 p.m. you might have to wait until 7 or 8 p.m. to get a full dinner.
