Incredible Value

This was a quality hotel at a great rate. The service was good and the location was sufficient. We enjoyed the gym as well as the hot tub on the roof. It is not in the very center of everything, but not too far either. My only criticisms are: 1) the Internet is extremely slow, if you have any business needs, 2) the room smelled slightly stale and of cigarette smoking, and 3) the Player’s Club - the only restaurant open during Ramadan - is a depressing attempt at recreating a British pub. All of these were minor annoyances, and we would heartily recommend this hotel to others.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

Big Bus offers a hop-on, hop-off bus tour of the entire city for 220 AED/person. It’s a great way to explore everything and see more of what interests you. It also includes a dhow cruise, which was amazing!

Nice upgrade

We arrived early in the morning and were told to sit and wait for early checkin. Had to wait 3 and a half hours and were finally upgraded to a suite with jaccuzi and very nice room. Also initial email contact regarding visas was hit and miss. You need to take taxis everywhere as its a little out from the centre and beach but overall we had a nice stay.

We had a great time there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Hotel Manager was very pleasant and made sure we got what we needed during our stay.

Stayed during Ramadan, so not much going on. Food is good. Hotel was good enough but room service was not thorough when cleaning.

Not Recommending

The hotel location is good for those who have a car, no walking distance facilities. We ordered non-smoking room but it wasn’t available. Guests smoke outside rooms also. House-keeping partially clean the room, bath towels are small, bath water stream is weak, soap and shampoo not daily changed, stuffs on the floor not lifted, we lost a personal shampoo, bed blanket is small. WiFi not available and cable internet is expansive. Tiny hotel lounge and buffee. Hard to catch a taxi outside. TV channels are boring and some famous are missing.

Good little hotel but a little expensive in the restaurant and bars but other than that it was a good little hotel.

Decent hotel in dubai

The hotel for the money i paid is worth it. only issue i faced was the reception is poorly handled. i have to wait nearly 35 to 45 mins to check in. after travelling for 8 hrs and sitting with two kids in the reception almost for an hour....... The staff are very good and well attentive to everything we need for help. Only issue on that part was too expensive restaurants and breakfast bar.

hotel reception has a travel desk which is good for booking and sight seeing with Tour Dubai which is very good option.

I was very happy with this selection as the price was reasonable, nice area of the city and convenient to shopping. Hotel staff was great and the rooms were clean.

value for money

The hotel had all the necessary amenities -- good restaurants, a health club and pool, internet. The location was not prime -- but the advantage of being off the beaten track is that you can avoid traffic coming and going to the hotel itself. You’ll still have to brave traffic to get to any of the prime tourists sites or shopping centers
