America’s Worst Waxahachie

We booked several rooms for a business trip. Some of the rooms were not serviced every day, towels were in short supply, the bathrooms were moldy with tiles and baseboards missing. The air conditioning was noisy and parking was limited. Additionally, the price was similar to many way better hotels in the area. We checked out early and went to another hotel.

Dirty noisy and not maintained ETC

If minus 10 was a possible rating I would have picked that number. The carpet was badly stained and the floor flexed and tilted toward the window. The door had been kicked in a number of times and that allowed freeway noise to enter the room. The bathtub was light brown soiled. Light bulbs were missing. No liners in waste baskets. No hangers in the closet. The room had a etc etc etc.

This is a truck stop type motel with the State of Texas parole office within the motels parking lot.

Not impressed

The room smelled horrible. The outlets in the restroom/vanity area were not secured and did not work. There was a two inch hole in the bathroom wall. After requesting additional blankets, we were given old woolen blankets with holes in them that smelled like an animal.
