Spend the extra money
We were basically needing a place to sleep while visiting family. We weren’t at the hotel much. Overall we should have paid the extra money to stay somewhere else. There were bugs all over the place! And rooms never seemed to get cooled off. There are much nicer Super 8s then this one.

Used soap and shampoo in bathroom!!
This was a pretty nasty hotel, which obviously had not been thoroughly cleaned or vacuumed before we arrived. The bed was not supportive at all (despite the fact that we had a king) and we did not sleep well. The walls were thin and we could easily hear noise from the rooms next to us and the hallway. I will not sleep here again!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Sometimes you really do get what you pay for - and less. Going the cheap route and staying in a 2 star place might save you money but it will probably be much less comfortable. An extra $20 is sometimes worth it.
