Smelled like cats
The hotel had undergone a new owner/name to Amerihost, and it certainly was a different hotel from the one that was previously reviewed in the past. It certainly lacked any investment in maintenance. The door from the parking lot, could not be entered as the magnetic reader was broken. The swimming pool is quite small, and located next to the lobby, but the jacuzzi was broken, and it looked like it had been broken for quite some time. The only available room on the ground floor smelled like cat, and the only rooms were on the 2nd floor -- without an elevator. Having to take the luggage up the steep stairs was a definite no-no, so we ended up staying in the room. Not many options there. We were not happy campers, but we had no choice since we arrived rather late in the afternoon. The staff was courteous enough, but we would certainly not go there again.

We stayed for almost 2 weeks and enjoyed everything. We are returning soon.

Not Impressed
The hot tub was out of order as others had stated, my daughter found a dead spider in her bed (after she slept in it) and the air conditioner kicked off long before it got cold. When I raised these questions the front desk they said it was because "it was cold outside" and that was the way they worked. When I wanted to stay one more night the price jumped considerably, so I stayed somewhere else. I will not stay here again.
