Nice get-away
Three girlfriends and I reserved a room with two queens. When we showed up, we got upgraded to one of the suites. Very nice and roomy. One king was upstairs (careful, the stairs are a little steep first thing in the morning!) and the other king was down. The only little thing I can pick at was there was but one mirror in the suite and it was in the bathroom. If you’re going with a bunch of ladies, bring your table mirror with you. Best part--loved being able to walk everywhere and to shop, eat in downtown Blowing Rock.
Pssghetti’s was wonderful and authentic Italian cuisine. Good thing they have valet parking!

Nice and right downtown
Nice room and cute property very convenient to restaurants and shopping to walk to. It was nice not having to fight for parking on the streets. Breakfast was nice and the staff really friendly. The room smelled musty though but not so bad for a pregnant woman with a sensitive nose to not be able to deal with. And the TV remote was not working, couldn’t get it programmed to the TV and the staff had no program code for it, but there were reset directions on the back of the remote so someone must have played with it and messed it up. It was nicely furnished and clean. There was a microwave and mini fridge with freezer section to that was very nice along with the coffee pot and hair dryer and toiletries. I liked the chairs and tables and rocking chairs you could sit out on out in front of the rooms either on a covered deck on the 1st floor or open deck on the 2nd level. Blowing rock really is adorable.
Everyone is friendly and getting there is so fast and convenient from Charlotte now that HWY 321 is open to Hickory it is even an easy day trip. Take a trip to Mast General Store in Valle Crucis not very far away.

Great location - good value
The location is at the tip of downtown which makes it super easy to walk to all the cute shops and restaurants. The parking lot was a little tight, but it was worth coming back early for the snack reception in the afternoon. Continental breakfast is enough to start the day.
