Hotel Vintimille

A place to save some bucks.

This hotel is not for everyone, not air condition, a little bit noisy. The room was clean if you don’t look at some details, but in need of maintenance. We carry our own clean products, such as Clorox to be safe. The bathroom was extremely small. If you carry some extra pounds, you can not get into the bathroom. The elevator didn’t go to our floor. What I like about the hotel was its location close to the metro and that was very cheap to stay in Paris a few days. The staff was not polite as usual in Paris, but even so we love to go to the city of light every time we can. My budget is very limited. Maybe I could stay again knowing I’m saving some bucks.

Stay Away unless you like rude staff and dirty rooms

Stay away......the only good thing about this place is the location....ohter than that...nothing good to say.....the staff is rude and the rooms were dirty...also they don’t like to light up the stairwells or hallways.....finding my room in the dark was a mission in itself...

Don’t recommend

They moved us to a different hotel that they also owned because "Hotel Vintimille" was full eventhough we had a reservation. Although the hotel was within walking distance to Montmartre, which was a wonderful little area, it was in a red light district. There were literally a dozen "mens clubs" within 20 meters of the hotel.

Not impressed

Two advantages are that it is a budget hotel and the location (Place de Clichy with a metro station close by). The problems are : 1. Corridor lights are switched off for most parts of the day 2. Windows dont close 3. Staff are generally unhelpful and impolite

the hotel was ok, reception staff were average, depended on who you got as one had pretty much no english. room was small but clean. bathroom was also VERY small but ok. had to hold shower head as nothing to attach it too. close to metro train station which was good. lights in hallway are on a timer so very dark at night time. i would stay there again if i was in Paris

Avoid at all costs

The hotel is very dirty, run down, and in a very unsavory part of town. Additionally, the management is rude and unaccommodating. Overall, this hotel is a great way to ruin your trip to Paris.

Not impressed

I chose hotel vintimille because the price was reasonable. However i was unpleased with the hotel. But first i must acknowledge that the people were very friendly and kind. So it is not the people i had a problem with but with the hotel room. When i first walked in there, it smelled like cigarettes: the curtain, the sheets, and the desk. Since I do not smoke, the smell bothered me tremendously. In addition, it was terribly small. The towels were worn out and the toilet brush was used to clean the sink. I was disgusted.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Spend most of your day outside of the hotel room and enjoy yourself.

Nice location and great price. Staff were friendly and room was cleaned everyday...
