good location but
The hotel was undergoing renovations when we stayed, which involved some loud banging, and some amenities that were promised were not there (maybe just not there yet). I had asked in advance, through Expedia, to check if they had air conditioning and was assured that they did. They did not.

Great for people on a budget
While the room was small, the bathroom was a decent size and the room was kept very clean. The location is great - right across from a metro station with multiple lines running through it, and walking distance to much of the Latin Quarter attractions. The breakfast was great. Definitely recommended for people on a budget. I’d stay there again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
You can get pretty much anywhere by taking the RER C line from Gare Austerlitz (across the street) to the St. Michel stop. This puts you in walking distance from Notre Dame, St. Chappelle, the Conciergerie, and a slightly farther walk to the Eiffel Tower. It’s also a short walk across the Seine to the Louvre.

Good Hotel for the price, near metro station, perfect for Paris as a tourist!
Located near a metro station, not in downtown but with good access. Rooms are small (european style) and bathrooms too but you’re never in the hotel anyway! Breakfast was good. we liked the hotel, perfect for tourism purposes!
