Great room and grounds. Great customer service. Lousy breakfast.
This is probably the most romantic place you can stay. Very private "bungalo" style duplex’s and other rustic rooms. Nicely decorated and clean. If your not a big breakfast eater then you will enjoy the cold pancakes and scrambled eggs with dried out country potatoes. No gravy or biscuits but some nice sausage links that you can roll up in the cold pancakes. But if you like breakfast then find a place in town, there are several.
Take the stairs down to the main street from the hotel if you are in good condition. Leave early enough to allow time to climb back up the stairs. Great workout. Also don’t forget to drive PAST Hurst Castle a couple of miles to see the Elephant Seals on the beach. There are usually at least 50 to several hundred just lounging on the beach. There is a second parking lot just North of the main parking lot that has a nice easy trail along the cliffs. Highly recommended

large clean room albeit a little dated. very good full breakfast, pretty grounds and gardens
With Expedia special rate, great value for the money. Also, had live entertainment in the lounge every night.
