Extremely pleasurable
We were surprised at how conveniently the hotel was located to shopping areas. parks, public transportation and the river. The hotel was lovely, the facilities of the were spotless and very "user friendly." The hotel staff was helpful in many ways, including helping us procure tickets for a play that were generally hard to get. We would definitely go back.

Budapest is a big city. Don’t limit yourself to one side of the river or the other. It is easy to get around by public transportation.

A very nice hotel couple kilometers out of the Pest side city center
Pros: Price-Quality ratio was very good. Hotel quite near the center of the city; easy to reach by public transport or even by foot. There are three spa (thermal water) pools in the hotel spa area. There’s a very cheap grocery store opposite to the hotel on the other side of the street. It is easy to store food and make breakfast in the room because there is a water boiler and a small fridge (mini bar). Cons: The breakfast is overpriced; 15 euros/person daily if the breakfast does not include in the stay. The hotel is not actually by the Duna river; there is like 50-100 metres walk from the hotel to the shore. There are no outside pools in the hotels as you might think from the hotel pics.

Budapest is more than just worth visiting! There’s a lot to see and it is very inexpencive city to spend a small or longer holiday. The spas are must see & experience places!
