Pet-friendly accommodations
This was the best hotel we could find in Vegas that was pet friendly. The staff was kind and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The strip is a quick cab ride away. The hospital is literally across the street.

There are several grocery stores within a short drive. You can purchase inexpensive food and keep it in the full-size fridge in your room to avoid eating out for every meal.
