Clean and nice pool area

Very clean and the pool area was very nice. We had a room with a King Size bed and the smallest bathroom I’ve ever had. Looked like a half bath at first view. It was a shower only and extended into the bedroom via a curved wall. The shower was a good size. The room was so tight the bathroom door was a pocket door because there wasn’t room for a regular door. We got used to it over the 4 nights we stayed at the hotel. The location was good the staff were nice and helpful.

The Buffalo Roadhouse Grill was around the corner from the hotel and was a great place to eat. Reasonable prices and varied menu.

Great getaway

We stayed here when we visited the Falls. It was a short easy ride to the falls and the staff was extremely helpful printing off directions anywhere you would want to go and with a smile on their face which makes a difference.

Good Stay

The hotel was clean and well kept. The price for the room was reasonable and it was near the highway and therefore convenient to my meeting.

The hotel staff was great.

The ladies at the front desk were awsome. Our first night in Amherst we needed a close restaurant and they had a great suggestion. Fresh baked cookies in the lobby everyday were awesome and one day one of the girls brought us cookies down to the pool, sort of against the rules, but very much appreciated.

nice place

A very nice room with a very comfortable bed which was great after a long drive. Centrally located,near everything.Easy on/off interstate and right near Suny buffalo.

Nice place at reasonable price

This is a very nice place and affordable. Rooms are small but good enough for a couple, if you have chidren, probably room would be small. Regarding the service, such was great, hotel staff is very friendly and helpful with anythinh you may need. The location is not bad, but definetely you should have a car to visit any place, specially if you may visit Niagara. There are several shopping malls and restaurants nearby, not at walking distance, but 5 minutes drive. The breakfast is really good and is not the typical continental brackfast, this one includes, fruit, bagels, muffins, milk, juices, waffles, eggs.. Good for the price.

The room was very clean and spacious. The internet service was nice being there on business. The free breakfast was just enough to get you through the morning. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of resturants close by. I was very pleased with the hotel.

Our room was small, but very up to date and clean. It completely met our needs for a short stay.

Convenient location, quiet spot

The proximity to the airport was great, and so was the ease of getting there and getting around from there. The room would have been a little small for two people, but was perfect for one. Complementary breakfast was hearty.

Exceeded My Expectations

My wife and I stay at this hotel usually about once a month, and the staff has always been consistent in making our trip a pleasurable, hassle free one. On top of being quiet and comfortable, the price is very reasonable. This hotel has exceeded my expectations.

Good deal

The staff was friendly and accomodating. The rooms were a bit small but no big deal. I believe you get a good deal for your money.

Incredible Value

I was super impressed with this two star hotel, it even had a marble top by the sink! Various members of the staff told me they could give me directions anywhere we needed to go and one even spent 15 minutes suggesting places to visit. The contintental breakfast included a decent food variety and the location was great for us because we flew into Buffalo and went to Niagara Falls for a day so the hotel was on the way to the Falls but not so close that it became expensive. The only thing I would like to change is that, even though there is plenty to do and many restaurants nearby, you have to drive to almost all of them. It’s not very walker friendly but that’s definitely not the hotel’s fault.

Shower no Tub

We enjoyed a three day stay here around the 4th of July and found the hotel very good for our needs. I would use it again. We were visiting folks in Buffalo and Niagara Falls so its location between the two destinations was very good. The lack of tub was at first off putting, but it was a great shower and in the end we liked it a lot (and big enough for two -- go green, save water!)... Santitation good, everything worked. Excellent in its price range.

Good location to visit Niagara Falls and Buffalo attractions. Also good if you have any business with the Amherst campus of UB.

Sleep inn Amherst ,NY(Buffalo)

This hotel is very new and clean. A really nice affordable hotel. Be warned that most rooms only have shower stalls, not tubs. Hot tub and pool are very nice. Hot tub malfunctioned once during our stay but worked most of the time. I would stay at this hotel again.

Better than the 2* rating

It was a clean room in good condition. I had some problem with the pillows but other than that it was very good

Getting on to the main road was difficult because of heavy traffic especially for a left hand turn. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. About 30 minute ride to Orchard Park.

The key card didn’t work that well, otherwise everything was fine.

Good Location

The hotel was located at a very quiet place...also very convenient place for shopping and placed to eat. Also had man connections for highway travel. The only dissapointment we had was the overall cleanliness...because we’re neat freaks. Good place, good location.

Nice hotel to stay, would recommend

The hotel is good for a short stay and the breakfast is reasonably good.

Pleasantly surprised

After reading other reviews of this hotel I was expecting just an average hotel room. I was pleasantly surprised that it was much nicer than I thought it would be. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was ample and fresh. Anyone staying at the hotel should definitely go to the second floor where they keep the local brochures which were well stocked and very informative and helpful for navigating your way through Buffalo and Niagara Falls. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Two local restaurants to check out close to the hotel are Max’s and Zebb’s, both bar and grills, and both very good.

Well worth considering

The hotel is convenient to all points in the Buffalo area and I would recommend this to anyone.
