Unexpected treats
This motel is easy to access and puts you near attractions such as Brookgreen Gardens and Atalaya. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They provided us with parking passes to the nearby state park where we enjoyed the tidewater views and walking on the beach. The indoor pool area was enjoyable and an unexpected treat since we visted during cooler weather and didn’t expect to do any swimming. There are excellent seafood restaurants nearby.
Visit Brookgreen Gardens and Atalaya Castle - well worth the small admission price and a very different view of the Myrtle Beach area. The history and out of doors opportunities make this enjoyable as an all day activity.

clean and comfortable
the room was very clean and seemed to be updated. it was very comfortable. the location was not the greatest but it was close to all main roads so you would be able to travel easily to other places. i was disapointed with their breakfasts. it was very inconsisant, and the hours for the pool were limited. i would have liked to swim after 8:00 evrey evening.
