Can’t wait to go back
This was a beautiful hotel. Had a room with an awesome view of Lake Como, which happens to be my favorite vacation spot. I will book my next vacation at the Palace Hotel and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

great view
For being a very warm September, this hotel had a/c. The beds were comfortable, the view of the lake was wonderful (ask for a lake view). There was remodeling of the walkway out front, but quiet over the weekend we were there. It came with breakfast, great typical european selection. Close walk to everything, wish we had had more time!

PERFECT LOCATION
THIS IS THE PERFECT LOCATION IF YOU ARE STAYING AT LAKE COMO !!!! EASY WALK FROM THE TRAIN STATION FROM MILAN (CARDONA). THE ROOM WAS FINE BUT SMALL FOR WHAT WE PAID. ALSO IT WAS LISTED AS A LAKE VIEW AND YOU HAVE TO LOOK AROUND A HUGE BEAUTIFUL TREE TO SEE THE LAKE. HONESTLY IT WAS FINE BUT NEXT TIME WILL TRY THE NEXT LEVEL UP FOR A BETTER VIEW. THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS WONDERFUL... BETTER THAN MOST IN ITALY. GREAT SERVICE AND NICE STAFF. WILL GO BACK FOR SURE !!!! FRONT DESK STAFF WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL !!!!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
TAKE THE LOCAL TRAIN FROM MILAN (CARDONA) INSTEAD OF FROM CENTERALE STATION. WAS LESS EXPENSIVE AND NOT MUCH LONGER THAN THE DIRECT TRAIN. AS THE TRIP IS SO SHORT IT WAS NOT AN ISSUE THAT THE TRAIN WAS NOT AS NICE.. THE MAIN TRAIN STATION IN COMO IS A MUCH LONGER WALK THAN THE FEW STEPS FROM THE LOCAL STATION TOO !!! IT IS ABOUT 3 MINS WALK FROM THE HOTEL VERY VERY CLOSE..
