Nice People and Room
The staff was easy going and knowledgeable about restaurants in the area. We were pleased with the room and the huge tub that was in it. The view was pleasant and the fireplace worked like a charm. We would definitely stay here again.

Simple, pleasant getaway location
The hotel is nice in that it is simple. It is not super expensive, and does not try and boast about itself. The room is like any other cheap hotel room you will find out there. The one thing that my girlfriend and I truly enjoyed was the soaking tub for two. I was impressed that it actually fit two people very comfortably, unlike others that have been so small that one adult can hardly fit inside it. The view from the room is nothing spectacular. Hardly more than a small pond, with Highway 1 right next to it. Thankfully though, the sound from the highway does not disturb you in the slightest, so don’t worry about missing any sleep.
Traveler's tip on dining
A must try restaurant in the area is the Mendo Bistro. It is considered one of the best restaurants in Mendocino County, and is mentioned in the Zagat restaurant guide.

Very unpleasant
The room smelled strongly of urine, the staff were surly and unhelpful and the carpet was stained and filthy. Very unpleasant place to stay
