Great Experience in Alpena

Beds were not too comfortable, A/C didn’t work well.
The beds felt similar to sleeping on springs...not very much padding at all. The A/C did not blwo out and said "needs maintainence." Luckily it wasn’t too hot at night, so that didn’t matter much. Woke up feeling sore from the mattress. Not sure if all the beds are like that, but ours were. The continental breakfast was nice. Cereal, bagels, donuts, muffins, toast, english muffin, waffles, oatmeal, orange and apple juice, milk, coffee. It was very affordable and a free breakfast is always nice.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Ossineke beach/Sanborn park isn’t too far away. They had playgrounds and a clean beach. We could bring the dog too.
