Nice room, people, and amenities
I hadn’t stayed here before because it is a little off the beaten Reykjavik path. The room however was very nice, roomy, clean and comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant. A very good value, though eating at the restaurant on site is a bit expensive. Very accommodating with transportation to various locations around town. I will definitely stay here again.

Decent hotel
Pluses: generally good condition, helpful staff, can walk to city center (it’s a hike, though), decent breakfast buffet. Minuses: no bed top sheet, bed comforters on (queen) bed were for singles, no mini-bar, TV did not work at all. Funky location next to (nearly unused) small airport. Bauhaus outside design is ugly fun!
