Adorable Tiny Attic Room with View
We stayed in the two twin bed attic room and while it was tiny and basic, we absolutely loved it! It was perfect for two people on a budget who weren’t going to spend that much time there anyway. It had a wonderfully large angled window with a nice view and the room was very clean. It is about an 8 minute walk from the red light district (this was a good thing--MUCH quieter area at night) and had a good cafe right next to it for breakfast in the morning. Only thing to be aware of: this hotel does not have a lift and the stairs are unbelievably steep. If you have any kind of physical limitations or object to pulling your suitcase up four very steep flights of stairs, look elsewhere. The hotel was inexpensive, suited our needs, and to be honest, the stairs made a good story in the end.

Will check if there’s something better
Has no elevator and the stairs are very small and inclined so you have to do a extreme hard work to take your luggage to your room. All other aspects are OK.

Have stayed here 3 times and staff is always warm and welcomeing.thing must havew been slow so they gave me a bigger better room which was very nice. And Yes Guys there are many steps to climb but if you are in amsterdam get used to it. I will stay again when i come back in 2009.best Bang for the euro/buck for those that are on a small income
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Buy the tram passes at central station and buy your return ticket for the train when you first are at the airport to avoid lines on your return. Get the IAMSTERDAM CARD great deal see all the sights and have fun remember your in Amsterdam so live it up like the dutch.visit the markets albert cuypt great deals and be humble the Dutch are your friends.......
