Bali Sorgawi Staff makes you feel at home
The staff of Bali Sorgawi are so friendly and most accomodating. The surroundings are most attractive. The buildings are a little old and could be maintained and cleaned a little better but all and all because of the fine hospitality, we were able to over look that part. The other big plus is the hotel is within walking distance to the beach as well as many fine restaurants and attractions.

acceptable for price
The Hotel was acceptable for the price, The room was clean enough but the aircon remote needed replacing. The beds were worryingly noisy when sharing a room. Service was good although veriety of breakfast offered was limited especially for a person who has limitations such as no wheat. The bedding could be improved. Only one pillow was provided but when another was requested there was no problem.

Will go back again
Location was good. The hotel was walking distance to one of the busy areas for shopping and for nightlife activities in Kuta. About a mile from Kuta Beach. My room had nice cold air conditioning. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Bargining is expected. However, there are stores with fixed prices. Vendors expect you to bargin. I was uncomfortable at first and know I paid more than I should have on my first few purchases. Someone told me to offer 40%-50% below quoted price then negotiate.
