Great Location
Very pleasd with everything at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location could not have been better. It was easy to walk to shops, restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend Hotel 1898. I would love to go back there again.

Friday night stay at Hotel 1898
We stayed one night in a superior room. We previously asked for and received a room with a small balcony. I thought we would have been charged a bit more for the balcony but we weren’t, so it was great to look over Las Ramblas. However, despite double paned windows, we were awakened several times by wee morning hour revelers-- something to consider if you’re a light sleeper. Several outlets in our room didn’t work so maintenance gets a 4. The rooptop terrace afforded panoramic views, but the drinks were a bit pricey.

Great Hotel
Hotel 1898 was a very nice hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room was beautiful.
