Too many birthday parties
I went for a relaxing weekend and had to put up with more than 5 birthday parties in the course of 2 days. These were little kids parties in the pool.... so you guessed it.... no swimming was possible for me. I paid to stay in the hotel, the guests of the birthday party did not. Its a poor use of a hotel to make a party reservation when there is a public pool in the town. If you are reserving here, find out how many parties you have to put up with

Wouldnt recommend.
To begin, I had to change my hotel room twice after checking in. My first rooms air conditioner was completely nonfunctional, and in my second room were what appeared to be leftovers from the previous occupants. Eventually I just upgraded to a suite, which cost me about an additional 80 bucks on top of what I had already paid expedia. For the price, it definately was not worth it. It seems that "suite" just means about an extra 30 square feet, a mini-fridge (smaller than one you would see in a college dorm) and a microwave. However, I do have to say that all of the customer service attendants were very nice and helpful, they were the only reason I decided on staying at this hotel at all (well them, and the fact that I had already paid expedia and would not be refunded).

Stay at the Hawthorn Suites or the Holiday Inn Express.

Even though I called ahead of time to make sure my room would be ready when I got there, it was not. They put me in a different room which was supposed to be non smoking but smelled like an ash tray, they moved us to a second room, the same thing, moved us to a third room. In ALL of the rooms there wasnt any hot water! I thought it was just me but speaking to other guests ,they had the same pproblem.
