Very Nice Hotel in Longueuil

Hotel Le Dauphin made our visit to the Montreal area extra enjoyable. The room was very large and plush with classy furnishing. There was even a computer in the room offering free Internet access. -- The hotel is also located conveniently close to the Longueuil Metro station. You can be in the city in about 10 minutes using the Metro. We would go back again to this excellent hotel next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Park for free at the hotel and buy a multi-day Metro pass to use for most of your ventures into the city area of Montreal. A 3 day museum pass is available for $50 CA and includes a 3 day metro pass - buy it at most museums or Montreal tourist offices.

Very nice, clean, good location

Stayed here for 3 nights. Nothing to complain about. Very close to the metro station, only two stations away from the city center. Large rooms, good service. Recommended!

Traveler's tip on dining

Don’t go to Eggstra resto across the street. Awful crepes.

A place to stay in Montreal

The beauty of the hotel is that it is OUTSIDE of Montreal where there is plenty of free parking. You do have to take the METRO into the city, but it is a great experience. A 5 minute walk to the METRO and an unlimited visitor’s pass is a great way to see the city for cheap! My standby hotel has increased their prices, and this was my new alternative. It certainly met all my needs it is just a bit further a walk than my standby. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

clean, free breakfast, free parking, near METRO. What more can ya’ ask for!

Good decent hotel

The hotel’s about a 5-10 minute talk from the metro (though you have to walk underneath freeways). Super easy to drive into the city, being right next to the Jean-Drapeau bridge entrance. The room’s are plain but sufficient. Internet in each room is nice along with the fridge & DVD players. The front desk person was helpful.

Impressive hotel regardless of price

Truly enjoyed stay. Staff friendly. Location from metro really is about 4-7 minute easy walk, your in downtown Montreal in about 10-14 minutes after that. Very nice hotel... Contintental breakfast as someone else said is ok.. but nothing to write home about.. Aside from that... Almost a perfect, simple hotel when staying in Montreal area. AND.. they actually read and HONORED my request for a specific room request. Will defintely stay here next time.

Good place to stay.

This hotel had a good rate for Montreal and was convenient to a grocery store and mall. The metro was a 5 minute walk and quickly takes you into the city. The hotel was clean, parking was free, and breakfast was available. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay, Greater Value

This hotel was great (especially if you have kids). The staff was very friendly (though young so not very knowledgeable about dining options in the city). Everyone is bi-lingual (Fr & Eng). Rooms and common areas were always clean. Floors had that pine fresh smell that I love. Cont. Breakfast (6-11am) was included although you may want to go out for a full breakfast later. There is even a highchair in the breakfast room. It helped me keep my 1 year old in one spot during feedings. Each room had a PC on the desk w/ internet access. I was told that there is also wireless available in each room. DVD & VCR are in the room and you can borrow (not rent) movies from the front desk. Not a very big selection so remember to pack your own movies. All of this is included in the room rate! The Metro was 4 blocks from the hotel (2 stations from the main Metro hub in Montreal). We are definitely going to stay here again (everytime we go to Montreal, in fact)!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

This hotel offers free parking. So park your car & take the Metro into the city. A day pass on the Metro is $9 and a 3day pass is $17.
