Not Impressed
Very good hotel. Only restaurant road. A breakfast on a roof the miracle is simple. Do not use a transfer from the airport from Expedia. We waited the bus 2 hours!!!!

Best part of our Rome Experience
Location of this small, elegant hotel located in a relatively quiet neighborhood couldnt be better for sightseeing. Stroll to the Forum, Colliseum, Capitoline Hill. No more than 20 minutes to Pantheon, Vatican & Spanish Steps. Friendly staff who spoke English. Rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking peaceful classic Roman views is a must for everyone. Perfect way to start and finish the day.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Public transportation is difficult and expensive in Rome so stay in a well-located hotel. Tour buses are fairly expensive also. Get the ambiance of Rome by walking as much as possible. Tours nice but not necessary if you remember your history lessons. Taxis are great and a bargain for the convenience when you compare them to public transportation.

Nice for tourist - not business
The Forum hotel has an incredibly great location. Every morning you can enjoy a great breakfast overlooking ancient Rome and the Colosseum. The hotel rooms are small, but clean and the hotel is very well kept. However - this is NOT a business hotel. While the hotel staff is friendly, they are not very technically minded - nor very responsive. The hotel internet did not work for my entire visit and the staff was apologetic but not very helpful. (there a several internet cafes on Via Cavour but the staff was not very helpful in locating these). When I asked the staff if they could recommend a "jogging" path in the area, they also could not. And when I wanted a taxi to the airport, they arranged for a private car (which charges more than a taxi - but I argued and got the price of a taxi for the private car. Thanks to a previous review on Expedia, I was prepared for this!). On the positive side, when I arrived early (~9AM) they had a room ready for me and I was able to check in immediately. Mostly this was a nice hotel and a good experience.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
there are several internet cafes on via Cavour. Dont stop in the seedier ones; keep looking. There are nicer ones in the area.
