RUN DOWN
This hotel, even though close to air force academy, was empty and bordering on run down. Keeping in mind that the hotel was painfully empty I do not understand why we were given a room overlooking the walmart across the street when the beautiful mountains were on the other side.

nice, small little place to stay!
it was a very nice, small little hotel. it had a really small town feel to it. we had the pool to ourselves, which was great. they keep the pool temp up pretty high too, unlike most places where you get into the pool and freeze. the hot tub wasnt very hot though. i really liked the night desk clerk, she was very nice and attentive. the day clerk however, was a very stern and not very nice lady who brought her cat to work, which i find VERY unprofesional. especially when they have free breakfast and she was the one mixing the waffle batter after just petting that cat. neddless to say i didnt eat. she didnt wash....gross.
a nice place to stay if you have kids who love to swim, and be loud and splash while they do it! with no one else in the pool area, they can scream and splash all they want and you dont have to worry about the other people getting irritated.

Inexpensive stay near the Air Force Academy
A comfortable place for the money. The room was clean and the location quiet. Standard continental breakfast was adequate.
